El Compas Royalty

Operator: Endeavour Silver Corp. ("Endeavour Silver")

Metal(s): Silver, Gold

The El Compas property is located in the heart of the world's most prolific silver mining district in Zacatecas, Mexico. El Compas is host to a number of gold bearing veins identified at surface. These veins were mined via underground mining by a private Mexican company. Historic production records are unavailable; however, Marlin had previously confirmed that high grade gold and silver mineralization exists within at least two of the vein structures (El Compas and El Orito).

The current operator, Endeavour Silver, describes El Compas as "A high quality, fully permitted gold-silver mine and a modern leased plant in the historic silver mining district of Zacatecas, with good exploration potential to expand resources and good acquisition potential to consolidate other properties with stranded resources and exploration targets in the area."

The results of previous exploration work were compiled into a NI 43-101 resource estimate report dated January 30, 2011 (further updated by Canarc Resource Corp. on January 19, 2016).

Although exploration efforts to date have focused on the gold bearing vein system at surface, Marlin believes that there is significant potential to explore for large scale silver bearing targets at depth hosted within Mesozoic rocks that are typical of the district.

Marlin owns a 1.5% NSR on the majority of the concessions at El Compas, including those hosting the El Compas and El Orito veins. The 1.5% NSR is transferable and is expected to be placed into Sailfish Royalty Corp.
